Ohrsom Student have been running the most incredible GAP year programmes for students from South Africa & Australia. Over the past 8 years hundreds of young Jews have started their life journey on an Ohrsom Gap year experience. "The GAP" programme is built and run in conjunction with the incredible team at Ohrsom.
THE GAP is a holistic, transformative gap year program combining all the elements a student finishing high-school could ask for. Based in the heart of Jerusalem, THE GAP offers the perfect blend of personal growth, skill-building, Dynamic-Jewish-learning, and real-world experience. With international trips to India and South Africa, high-end internships, and skill-based experiences, THE GAP will deepen your Jewish identity and equip you for life.
THE GAP is for Jewish students aged 18-19 who have finished high school and want a
dynamic, meaningful gap year experience that combines Jewish learning, travel, and
professional growth.
The program runs from September until May, offering 9 months of immersive learning,
travel, and internships.
You’ll live in modern, fully-furnished apartments in the center of Jerusalem, close to cultural
sites, shopping, and the Old City.
